Skipper Josh Macleod and wing Tom Rogers have been released from Wales’ Six Nations squad and are available for Scarlets’ BKT United Rugby Championship clash with Edinburgh on Friday night.
The pair are among nine players who are back with their clubs for the round 12 fixtures.
The others are Liam Belcher, Ben Thomas and Mason Grady (Cardiff Rugby), Harri Deaves, Reuben Morgan-Williams, Gareth Thomas and Owen Watkin (Ospreys).
All will rejoin the Wales camp on Sunday, March 1 to continue preparations for the fourth round Guinness Six Nations match against Ireland (Friday, March 6, KO 8.10pm live on ITV and S4C).
In addition, Ospreys second row Rhys Davies has been released from the squad due to an ankle injury sustained in training last week.
Any further player call ups to the squad would be made following this weekend’s round of club matches.
