Oil 4 Wales to be new lead sponsor as Scarlets unveil kit for 2020-21 season

Scarlets have unveiled their home and alternate kits for the 2020-21 season and are delighted to announce that Oil 4 Wales will be the new lead sponsor.

Established 10 years ago in Carmarthen, the family-run business supplies fuel across Wales and is a long-standing supporter of the community.

The Oil 4 Wales logos will take pride of place on both the new Macron Scarlets red home jersey and the alternate strip which contains the grey, red and yellow of the Carmarthenshire crest — in keeping with the final year of our ‘Three Counties, Three Years’ strategy.

In our Carmarthenshire season, it is fitting that such a highly-respected Carmarthen-based company will be the Scarlets’ lead jersey sponsor.

“As a proud family business in West Wales, it is a huge honour for us to be the lead sponsor of the Scarlets for the coming season,” said Oil 4 Wales managing director Colin Owens.

“Community is a huge part of what we are about at Oil 4 Wales, as it is at the Scarlets. I am a passionate Scarlets and Welsh rugby fan myself and being out in Toulon a couple of weeks ago and seeing the boys run out with the Oil 4 Wales logo on their jerseys was an incredibly proud moment for myself, the family and the business.

“We are looking forward to seeing the team in their new kit against Munster this weekend and hopefully it won’t be long before we can all be back at the Parc to cheer on the boys this season.”

Scarlets head of commercial James Bibby said: “Colin and the team at Oil 4 Wales have been long-standing supporters of the Scarlets, Welsh rugby and the community as whole, it is fantastic to see the three feathers of their logo on the front of our playing shirts.

“We hope supporters like the new designs which are in keeping with our Scarlets tradition and the ‘Three Counties, Three Years’ strategy that we began in Ceredigion a couple of years ago.

“At the Scarlets we are indebted to the continued support of all our commercial partners and we look forward to welcoming them all back to the Parc when it is safe to do so.”

As well as Oil 4 Wales, we are grateful for the continued support of kit partners Owens Group, Swansea University, Gravells, LBS, Lloyds & Gravell, Castell Howell, Princes Gate, Dyfed Steel, Coleg Sir Gar and Pencwnc Holiday Park, TAD, John Francis and CK Supermarkets.

Both jerseys have an embossed ‘sosban’, while the away kit contains images from county crests which reflect the region’s diverse industrial heritage.

The new Scarlets shirts are available from the Macron club shop at Parc y Scarlets from 9am on Thursday or online at scarletsmacronshop.com
