Scarlets are delighted to announce that Oil 4 Wales will continue as our front of shirt sponsor for the 2023-24 season.

The community-focused company, based in Carmarthenshire, has been a long-standing supporter of Welsh rugby and the principal sponsor of the Scarlets since 2020.

A family-run business, Oil 4 Wales was founded in 2010 by Colin Owens, with the support of his wife Shirley, daughter Sally, and son Paul.

An independent fuel supplier, Oil 4 Wales is committed to a greener future and is currently in the process of making the transition to become Green 4 Wales having made a £1m investment at their manufacturing plant in Sennybridge.

Managing Director Sally Williams said: “We are proud to continue our support of the Scarlets, a club that stands for the same community and family values as we do as a business.

“We enjoyed some great nights at Parc y Scarlets last season and It was fantastic to see the club’s progress in the Challenge Cup and also the faith shown in the young talent coming through the region.

“We look forward to the coming season with excitement and seeing the boys run out with our logo on their jerseys for what should be another memorable occasion against the Barbarians in September.”

Sally Williams added: “We understand that it is ever more important in the current climate to look to the future to protect and save the environment wherever possible. As an oil company, this is a difficult task, but one which we are fully committed to, hence our transition to Green 4 Wales.

“Right now, it is vital that the oil industry supports greener fuels and solutions to reduce emissions, which is why we are now a supplier of Renewable Diesel and have storage facilities in North and South Wales. In our transition to Green 4 Wales, we’re in discussions with various local authorities across Wales as we look to work together to strengthen our relationships in order to provide a cleaner, greener future for our local communities.”

Scarlets Head of Commercial Garan Evans said: “We are thrilled that Oil 4 Wales will be on the front of our jerseys once again this season. They are a family business based here in our region and are passionate not just about the Scarlets, but Welsh rugby as a whole

“Oil 4 Wales have done so much for the community in recent years, particularly during Covid-19 and the recent fuel crisis when they delivered free fuel to the elderly and vulnerable across Wales. They also stood by the Scarlets during an extremely challenging economic climate.

“We look forward to welcoming Colin and the team back to Parc y Scarlets for the new season and seeing our partnership grow.”

The new Scarlets home jersey for the 2023-24 season will be unveiled on Friday at 10am.
