Oil 4 Wales to continue as Scarlets lead partner

Oil 4 Wales will again be the Scarlets’ lead sponsor for the 2021-22 season.

The Carmarthenshire-based business is a long-standing supporter of the Scarlets and Welsh rugby and we are delighted that the team will continue to run out with the distinctive three feathers logo on their chests.

Established in 2010, Oil 4 Wales is a family-run business built by Colin Owens, with the support of his wife Shirley, daughter Sally, and son Paul.

An independent fuel supplier, Oil 4 Wales provides a range of services to homes, businesses, commercial premises, agricultural and retail customers throughout Wales.

The company became the front-of-shirt sponsor of the Scarlets for the 2020-21 season and has a number of our leading players as ambassadors, notably British & Irish Lions hooker and club captain Ken Owens as well as international team-mates Leigh Halfpenny, Gareth Davies, Jonathan Davies and Samson Lee.

“It has been a huge source of pride as a West Wales business to see the boys running out with our logo on the front of their jerseys this season,” said Oil 4 Wales managing director Colin Owens (pictured above with Ken Owens).

“Ourselves and the Scarlets are aligned with the same values. We are honoured to be at the heart of our community, something the Scarlets value highly as we have seen over the last 16 months or so during the Covid pandemic.

“We are looking forward to continuing our partnership into the new season and can’t wait to see the supporters back at Parc y Scarlets cheering the boys on.”

Scarlets head of commercial James Bibby added: “We have been indebted to the backing of our partners during this hugely challenging period and Oil 4 Wales have shown incredible support to the Scarlets throughout.

“Family and community means a huge amount to Colin and the team at Oil 4 Wales and that is a great fit with us at the Scarlets.

“We can’t wait to see our new jerseys unveiled soon and look forward to welcoming everyone back here to Parc y Scarlets for the opening weekend of the season in September.”
