Second row Sam Lousi is in contention to make his return from injury in the Boxing Day derby against the Ospreys.
Tongan international Lousi hasn’t played since the opening game of the season because of a calf issue.
Head coach Dwayne Peel delivered an injury update at his weekly media conference, revealing that prop Wyn Jones and centre Joe Roberts are also back in the selection mix, while Josh Macleod and Sam Costelow are close to comebacks.
Scarlets take on the Ospreys on Boxing Day with a 5.15pm kick-off.
With more than 9,000 tickets sold, there promises to be a bumper crowd at Parc y Scarlets for the festive derby.
