Scarlets U18s will open their pre-season campaign with a match against Ulster at the end of July.
The match will take place on Thursday, July 30 at Bristol Grammar School with a 2.30pm kick-off. The match is taking place in Bristol for logistical reasons to allow the Ulster squad to travel back to Belfast later that day.
A day later, the U17s are in action against Dragons RFC at Llandovery with a 2pm kick-off.
On Thursday, August 6, the U17s will once again take on the cream of English rugby’s Academies at the Malvern festival, then on Friday, August 7, Scarlets take on Ealing U18s at Church Bank, Llandovery. The two sides fought out a thrilling draw at New Dock Stars RFC last season.
The Scarlets’ Welsh U18s Academies Championship programme kicks off with an away derby against the Ospreys on Sunday, August 16. RGC visit Llandovery a week later; Sunday, September 6 sees Scarlets take on Cardiff at the Arms Park, before the opening block of fixtures ends with a home match against Dragons at Llandovery on Sunday, September 13.
There is free entry to all home matches for Scarlets 2026-27 season ticket holders, who will need to show evidence of their membership on the gate.
Meanwhile, six Scarlets have been included in a Wales U18s training squad taking place in Scotland next month.
Congratulations to back-rower Ifan Gravell-Jones, second row Szymon Dominiak, hooker Elis Evans, fly-half Evan Rees, full-back Rhys James and centre Dylan Williams.
