A team of Scarlets staff were joined by coaches Dwayne Peel and Emyr Phillips in completing the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for the Scarlets Community Foundation.

The 20-strong group climbed Wales’ tallest mountain Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan all in a day, raising close to £3,000 for the Foundation.

Everyone is now enjoying some well-earned rest after a gruelling challenge, but you can still donate on the link HERE.

The Foundation, officially launched in 2020, covers Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion to not only help rugby development and participation in the region, but also promote health and wellbeing, social inclusion, education and provide charitable support.

Throughout the year, the Foundation works closely with the region’s three unitary authorities, as well as other organisations, charities and businesses on a variety of projects to promote and engage with the communities of West and Mid Wales.

From delivering rugby sessions to schools, sports camps in underprivileged areas to weekly Sporting Memories social clubs, the Foundation is looking to grow its reach and its impact in our communities, and all monies from the Challenge will go towards this amazing work.
