The clock is ticking down to the Scarlets Community Foundation’s fundraising challenge for 2026 – two full marathons in two days along sections of the stunning Wales Coast Path.
The challenge, taking place on June 11-12, will see staff, volunteers and friends of the Scarlets look to walk more than 50 miles across consecutive days with each step helping raise vital funds to support the Foundation’s work across west Wales.
Starting off at the coastal town of New Quay in Ceredigion, the team will head down the path, taking in some beautiful stops along the way before finishing off Day 1 at the stunning sands of Mwnt.
After a night of rest and recovery at Crymych RFC, the team are heading down to Pembrokeshire, picking up the challenge at Manorbier before heading across the path to Dylan Thomas’s Laugharne.
It’s not the first time the team at Parc y Scarlets have set themselves this kind of challenge. Two years ago, they completed the Welsh Three Peaks, climbing the mountains of Yr Wyddfa, Cadair Idris and Penyfan in a day, raising more than £5,000 in the process.
Every mile completed will again support the work of the Foundation – from helping young people build confidence through sport to supporting programmes that improve mental and physical wellbeing across the region.
