Scarlets U18s will make a welcome return to competitive action this month when they take on the Dragons and Cardiff Blues in home and away fixtures.

Covid-19 restrictions have meant age-grade rugby has been put on hold for more than 12 months, but our next generation are preparing for their first full match of the campaign in a mouthwatering west v east fixture on Wednesday, June 9.

After travelling to take on Cardiff Blues (Sunday, June 14) and the Dragons (Wednesday, June 16), Scarlets will host the Blue on Wednesday, June 23 in Llanelli.

Scarlets enjoyed a 31-10 victory over the Ospreys in a ‘training match’ last month.

Euros Evans (pictured) will be head coach of the U18s, assisted by Gareth Potter, Ricky Guest, Scarlets centre Steff Hughes with the group overseen by Academy skills coach Paul Fisher. Josh Davies will be the U18s’ strength and conditioning coach.
