Scarlets U18s welcome RGC for their next clash

Rob Lloyd Academy News

U18s welcome RGC to Parc y Scarlets on Sunday 2nd of February for the next round of the RAG Championship, KO 14:30 – Training Pitch.

After a disappointing start to the year with a loss against Cardiff Blues, the under-18s boys were looking to redeem themselves last Tuesday against the Ospreys at Aberavon. After a dominating first half from the boys in red, the mistakes flooded in during the second half which allowed the Ospreys to collect the all-important points on the board.

The squad now look ahead towards the next round against RGC, who are also a massively strong team and will be a challenge here at Parc y Scarlets.

The squad sees a few changes from last weeks clash, Ioan Phillips replaces Exile Corum Nott on the Right-wing, Rhun Phillips comes into the Outside Centre. Partners Josh Evans and Josh Phillips remain in their shirts at 10 & 11.

Archie Hughes replaces Luke Davies at Scrum Half who appears on the bench. We see only two changes in the forwards pack with Morgan Macrae © taking Lewis Morgan’s place as hooker. Casey Williams also replaces J Franklin-Cooper at blindside flanker.
