Scarlets can confirm that Macs Page is recovering well from the head injury that forced him to leave the field midway through the second half of Saturday’s BKT URC match against DHL Stormers.
A Scarlets medical spokesperson said: “Macs improved fairly quickly post match. He will not be available for next weekend’s game against the Vodacom Bulls as he will follow World Rugby guidelines following a concussive injury.”
Macs will be flying home from South Africa this week. Taine Plumtree and Joe Hawkins are also flying back to Wales to link up with the national squad at the Vale Resort in preparation for the start of the November Nations Championship series.
Scarlets take on the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in round five of the BKT URC on Saturday (3pm KO UK time).
