Llanelli’s home of rugby becomes a summer concert venue on Saturday, June 19 2027, when the stars of London’s West End perform an evening of ABBA on the Parc y Scarlets pitch.
Early bird tickets start at £25, with hospitality from £79.
A cast of West End performers and a live band will play ABBA’s best-loved hits. Gates open at 5:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm.
The concert is part of the Scarlets’ plan to open Parc y Scarlets up to the wider community beyond matchdays, bringing a major live music event to Llanelli and West Wales.
Scarlets Managing Director Jon Daniels said: “Parc y Scarlets is the home of west Wales rugby, but it’s also one of the best venues in the region and we want to see it full of people all year round.
“An evening of ABBA on the pitch on a June night is exactly the kind of event our supporters and the wider community have been asking for. Get your group together and come and sing your heart out with us.”
The event is presented in association with Coracle Coaches Holiday Gold.
“We’re delighted to support this event. We’re continually running coach trips all over Europe and we’re delighted to support Parc y Scarlets in bringing the stars of the West End to west Wales,” added Ken Duxburry, Coracle Coaches Director.
Coracle Coaches will run coaches to the concert from Haverfordwest, St Clears and Carmarthen, and these can be booked in advance. A shuttle service will also run between Llanelli railway station and Parc y Scarlets.
Hospitality packages start at £79, with hospitality opening at 5.00pm for a pre-show experience before the gates open. Group tickets are available, which makes the show ideal for birthdays, hen parties, work outings and nights out with friends.
