Following a successful Bank Holiday weekend hosting the Dunbia Community Finals, the Community Foundation team returned to delivering camps during the Whitsun school holidays.
Blessed with fabulous spring weather, the week began with four Fit Fed Fun Camps at Ammanford Bowls Centre, Cardigan RFC, Fishguard & Goodwick and Milford Haven, with 85 children attending across the four venues.
It was fantastic to collaborate with local authorities and external partners with their support helping provide a wider variety of activities and experiences for everyone taking part.
Then came the ever-popular Scarlets Rugby Half-Term Camp at Parc y Scarlets, where 35 youngsters took part looking to hone their rugby skills, before the team hit the road with camps at Lampeter RFC and Crymych RFC, attracting a further 60 participants across the two venues.
Scarlets Community Foundation Manager Paul Fisher: “Following on from the brilliant Community Finals weekend, the team have enjoyed a great week here at the Parc and out and about across the region with a range of fun and engaging activities in stunning weather, making for an excellent few days of rugby, physical activity, and community engagement.”
